Mundri - Tuesday Jan 27, 2026. The Mundri Sub-Local Football Association in Western Equatoria State officially launched its long-awaited referee training on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at HP Hotel in Mundri.A total of 45 participants from across Greater Mundri โ including six women โ are taking part in the six-day program. At the opening, Deputy President Sila Jackson urged trainees to focus and work hard to gain the skills needed to improve football in the region.Inspector of Youth, Sports, and Culture in Mundri West County, Mr. Stephen G. Martin, commended the organizers and called on supporters to continue assisting referees and coaches to strengthen local football.The training is being conducted by officials from the South Sudan Football Federation, led by technical instructor Sadiq Repent William and fitness instructor Theik Anei Chol. Upon completion, participants will be awarded certificates recognizing their achievement.
